A.A. Bondy has announced that When The Devil’s Loose, the follow-up to 2007’s acclaimed album American Hearts, will see release September 1.

“Recorded primarily in Water Valley, MS in April and May, When The Devil’s Loose expands upon the stripped-down and haunting sound of his debut album, American Hearts. A full band now accompanies him on most tracks, lending a full, roomy sound to 10 songs of bluesy Americana carried along by Bondy’s lived-in voice.”

Leading up to the album’s release Bondy is continuing his 2009 Summer tour which will take the singer through Minneapolis where he will be performing at the 400 Bar on June 20 with Holly Miranda in support.
