The Amherst trio had towers of amps stacked up all over the stage, including one that was pointed directly towards front man J Mascis, in case his monitors weren’t providing him enough of his own guitar sound. And not having enough sound has never really been a problem for the group, and it certainly wasn’t on this evening as the band tore through a fiery 90 minute set that spanned the band’s entire career.

Before CNN gets all over this mother I thought I’d direct you over to Dave Hill’s latest short entitled “Little Michael Jackson and Me.” More than likely you’re thinking “hey, I like regular sized Michael Jackson, so I’ll probably like little Michael Jackson too,” right? With that being said – if you’re still big on Michael Jackson your opinion doesn’t matter and I just typed the above to call you out on your own casual lust for decades past…you loser… I mean, get with the times, am I right? Anyways, go check the short out or you’re gay (unless if you are gay, then go check it out or you’re straight). Period.
