Capping off a week in which the latest album Here & Now debuted at #52 on the Billboard 200 America has to be feeling pretty good about itself. The James Iha produced album, which features Ryan Adams, Ben Kweller, Ira Elliot and Matthew Caws (Nada Surf), Jim James and Patrick Hallahan (My Morning Jacket) and Stephen Bishop and Mark Rozzo (Maplewood), has received some strong internet boasting and the band’s recent performance on Letterman actually, slightly, lived up to the hype.
