Ani DiFranco Henry Rollins Show1.jpg

Ani DiFranco has a bit to do with the success of so many female musicians in today’s vital music scene, well, she has a lot to do with many people’s success actually. Her influence is as beautiful and simplistic as ever; purely evident in intimate performances such as this one. The interview touches on Ani’s first hand experience with the blatent lack of governmental intervention surrounding Katrina and political music in the mainstream. There are two versions of “Millenium Theater,” one with a spoken introduction explaining the song and one sans introduction.
