I suppose the college freshman in me really wants to see this movie as I’m sure it will be irreverent, ridiculous and pretty much a downright laugh-factory. I haven’t watched the cartoon much for quite some time but in its prime I was a huge fan. And rightfully so – what other cartoons do you know of, having featured David Cross, Zach Wylde and Glenn Danzig, that are actually funny and/or relevant? That answer, my friend, is the key to what make this show special. It’s funny without being vulgar, crude without being blatant and ticklish without being completely gay. Let’s hope the movie proves worthwhile.
