“Brainstorm,” the first single from the upcoming Arctic Monkeys release Favourite Worst Nightmare is loud, fast and really really good. Being one of the few people who didn’t listen to Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not non-stop for the first half of last year I really never gained an appreciation for the band. However, if “Brainstorm” is any indication of what we can expect from the group’s upcoming effort - the band will probably take over the world.
The first song the band played at last year’s Reading Festival was the smash hit “Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor” and it sounds as though the entire crowd is singing along. Afterall - the first step in taking over the world is building an army, is it not?
