The Cabooze: 6:00 gates $25 (outdoors)

In an odd choice of venues if there ever was one, Gogol Bordello will be playing at The Cabooze tonight. Though I don’t know how The Cabooze managed to pull the rowdy gypsy band, I am looking forward to what should be one of the craziest live performances this Summer. Wildman, and sometime movie star, Eugene Hutz leads the ragtag band of multi-ethnic musicians in a unique brand of Balkanized Punk. Even if you don’t like their records (they are hit and miss for me) I guarantee that after a couple drinks you will be ready to quit your boring day job and follow this band to the ends of the earth after seeing their live show. One warning though, if you are female, be careful: Hutz’s sex appeal has been known to send ladies into fits. Just don’t look at the mustache and you should be safe. [Jon Behm]
