Bangs: Ecstatic Peace Archives Featuring Thurston Moore

For years I have known about and lusted over Thurston Moore’s extensive record collection, one much like that of Jello Biafra’s or ?uestlove’s, a ridiculously deep ocean of audible history. On the same note, VBS’s Lance Bangs recently documented Moore’s absurd collection of rare books and magazines, noting in detail his appetite for ancient punk poetry. It’s nice to hear about Moore’s passion for lost art, especially so when he recalls volume after volume of forgotten print. Calling someone an idol is of absolute tacky proportion, but I’m crazy about Moore’s passion here…if I could exude a similar lust for life I would most definitely be a happy boy…and I must admit, to some degree, I idolize Moore.
