I have little to no idea what the concept for this thing actually is… and a bit of it creeped me out… but I can honestly say that this is the most intense music video I’ve seen in years. It’s kinda messed up, but I’ve never seen anything quite like it.

  • the video is quite intense. behemoth got the cover story on this month’s decibel, and after reading that, i’m pretty certain that the video is some kind of grandiose interpretation of the anti-christian/catholicism lyrics of nergal. that’s about as close to a concept as i could possibly guess… the whole thing is one of the creepiest, most evil metal videos i’ve seen in a while (which is saying a lot), and it’s probably because the thoughts and motivations behind the video seem even more sinister than the imagery. i mean what IS it about?

needless to say, behemoth has a long history of well-produced, frightening videos. “Conquer All”, “At the Left Hand ov God”, etc. This one fits right in.

  • on a face value it does look anti-christian/catholic, for some even satanic. but if you read the lyrics, it is based on the concept of aopstasy. it describes the infinte potential, power of human spirit. meaning that it doesnt need a “religion” or “faith” to guide it. it’s about total transcendent freedom.

otherwise agree: very dark, brutal. but that’s behemoth:)
    hope could help

  • what appears to me is that the video is about Mary presenting her kid ie:jesus(PBUH) to the evil supposed anti christ god
