Excuse me, I fell into the icepack in 2006 and was only recently 'dethawed'. Today, 28OCT2010, I ate some really bad pizza and was driving in downtown Sacramento when I had near explosive diarria. Since I couldn't find a parking spot next to the Sheraton Hotel on J Street, I pulled over to the Beat record store to use their restroom. As I came out, they were playing 'A Sunday Smile' by Beirut and I HAD to buy the CD. The only keepers on the cd are Nantes and a Sunday Smile but OH what keepers! They start out simple but flood the sences with sound on the coda---amazing!!! So I'm thinking Neo-Psyedelic WorldBeat---CAKE meets Les Verdes Negresses on French 'Shrooms. I'm thinking the Singer is Balkin or Morrocian and living in France and he doesn't speak a word of English. He sits in a Parisian Cafe sniffing live was better under the Nazis than under the shaddow of Le Pricks d'Ameriques because everyone knows, Moussier, that the Nazis had the best looking uniforms in WWII!!! Then I find out the Singer is from New Mexico?!!! NO Freaking Way!!! And that they played A Sunday Smile on Letterman?!!! Way, No Way!!! Someone throw me an electric blanket and turn it up high---I've been in the icepack since 2006 and my ears are frozen up!!! What my newest favourite Beruit Song? I'm seeing a Prostitute from Marsalles? What?!!! Tre Cool!!! Tre Eeep!!! Tre Maneufique. Sarah Dippity; Yes, I dated her in High School!!!
