New Hip Hop Music Videos: Big Quarters, Elzhi & Openmic

Think: Minnesota winters bring out the worst in people

Directed by Dave Wilson (Atmosphere, Yelawolf, Frank Ocean) comes this new music video for “Good Look” from Minneapolis’ Big Quarters. Though an old cut — the Medium Zach-produced track is taken from the duo’s 2009 album From the Home of Brown Babies & White Mothers — the video is currently up on mtvU’s website, and is currently up for “Best Freshman Video.” If you enjoy the clip, help the guys out and vote for them.

Think: Stoop loungin’ & city reppin’

Following the music video for “Halftime” comes this new Michael Castelaz-produced clip for “It Ain’t Hard To Tell” from Elzhi’s recently released Nas tribute LP ELmatic.

Think: A view from the top

The Antoine Rucker & Ryan White-directed video for “Going Live” is taken from Openmic’s 2011 For The Rebels mixtape. For more from the Nashville MC, check out mp3s of “The Code,” “Can You Blame Him?” and “Non Fiction.”
