The contest is open to US residents only (sorry international friends!) – to enter simply leave a note in the comments section – maybe something about your favorite kind of cupcake or whether or not its time to seriously consider AA (don’t forget to enter your email address, which won’t be shown publicly, so I can get in touch with you!). One person will be chosen at random & the contest ends Friday, February 1, so…if you see this post on , February 2 and would like to enter…my friend, you are too late.

  • Corey V. says:

Okay. I’ll bite. Eels for me!

  • john says:

Cupcakes are good, alcohol is better!

  • dave says:

    Coconut with Malibu icing.

  • Chris says:

Sweet! Eels are awesome (as is this blog).

  • Nick Flanders says:

I just have to say that the strawberry cupcakes pictured in the link look AMAZING.

  • Beverly says:

My favorite cupcake is whatever they give out at the AA meetings I should be attending.

  • flood says:

cupcake? moon pie! love the blog and the eels, of course!

  • Billy says:

Eels should be something bitter, sweet but with a crunch. So an iced lemon cupcake sprinkled with hazelnuts for me.

  • Peter says:

According to Penn & Teller, AA works about as well as quiting on your own, & they are experts on everything. I only attend AA for the free coffee, and it is court ordered. Sometimes they have chocolate cupcakes. Yum.

  • Nick Jessen says:

    sweet Jesus and/or E
    I want that…
and/or one of those iced lemon cupcakes with hazelnuts that this billy person speaks of…

  • I personally preferred the cookies my Grandmother would bake me after we returned from attending her AA meetings. She always felt bad about me attending with her (as I was only 10 or so years old at the time), but she always loved the fact that I wanted to go.

  • Ramzi Abed says:

My favorite cupcakes, as synthetic and dangerous as they may be, are Hostess chocolate cupcakes (yes, the ones with the toxic white cream filling). I haven’t had one in many moons, and in fact, normally try to eat primarily organic foods… but there’s a real soft spot in my stomach (and heart) for those Hostess cupcakes. Oh, and The Eels are the holy grail of emotional rock and roll music. Gotta love ‘em.

  • Chris DeLine says:

I love those things…not much for frosting in general…at all actually, but I’m all about Hostess’ carcinogenic delights.

  • I like cupcakes, I love the eels, and my dad was an alcoholic. I think I got them all.
