When I was younger I entered a contest at a video store - and won a card that gave me a free video game rental every week for an entire year. I was a grand prize winner, and the second place winner won a brand spankin new Super Nintendo. I felt cool about winning something, but I may have used a dozen of the game rentals and ultimately felt a little ripped off by life. And as a young boy I learned that sometimes even winners feel like losers. I still eat children's cereal, though I buy the economy-sized generic brands...so they don't have contests. But if they did, I'm not sure I'd feel like a winner even if I won. Told ya, this goes nowhere... & LMS - That is the truest thing I've heard all day.
