The Amherst trio had towers of amps stacked up all over the stage, including one that was pointed directly towards front man J Mascis, in case his monitors weren’t providing him enough of his own guitar sound. And not having enough sound has never really been a problem for the group, and it certainly wasn’t on this evening as the band tore through a fiery 90 minute set that spanned the band’s entire career.

Danzig “Crawl Across Your Killing Floor” Video

Last week Brooklyn Vegan introduced Danzig’s The Lost Tracks of Danzig, a two disc collection recently released on the heels of Glen Danzig winning the rights to the material he recorded during his American days back from Rick Rubin. The first video, “Crawl Across Your Killing Floor” was originally to be included on the sub-par 1999 album 6:66 Satan’s Child but it wasn’t recorded in time for the release. The video features Danzig walking through a deserted Wild West-like terrain burdened by a small coffin that he is dragging behind him. Eventually entering what appears to be a darkened saloon he is presented with a drink by a scantaly clad temptress. She then proceeds to dance around a little bit and then burn a picture of Glen on a near by candle. Somewhere along the way a repeatedly shown stuffed ram’s rack boads significance; only in a Danzig video.

Like Danzig. Love the Misfits. Lame video. Glen Danzig is such a douche though.

  • Chris DeLine says:

HAHA, well…it’s a strange one that I think, unfortunately, portrays itself much like Danzig’s career the past decade or so. I imagine the video, like his music, makes Glen feel good and probably has some deeper meaning buried somewhere…but for the most part, few people ‘get it’ and even fewer care.

    Don’t mind the song though.
