The Amherst trio had towers of amps stacked up all over the stage, including one that was pointed directly towards front man J Mascis, in case his monitors weren’t providing him enough of his own guitar sound. And not having enough sound has never really been a problem for the group, and it certainly wasn’t on this evening as the band tore through a fiery 90 minute set that spanned the band’s entire career.

Breakdancing, extreme sports and cars sporting hydraulics on a rooftop – would you expect anything less from a Deftones video? It’s a whole different feel than the video for “Hole in the Earth” which was based on its totally 80s graphics for the most part…no theme, just waves of light. In comparison a few BMXers and pop-locking youths aren’t all that bad.

I miss the White Pony days. This song pretty much sucks.
I suppose I don’t understand the discrepancy…White Pony is to many the point where Deftones discovered a different path…if “Mein” is something straying from that, it might just be true to the source
