Dr. Dog on Late Night with Conan O’Brien

What’s all the hype about behind Philadelphia’s Dr. Dog? From this performance on Late Night with Conan O’Brien one might think that the band is just a gruffer version of Widespread Panic, with its roots heavily planted in jam. Thanks to a few samples given to us by a good man one might better describe the bands sound as laced with classic rock organ and soulful come-down type vocals. Either way it’s a given that if you’re a fan of anything considered outside the mainstream in terms of 60s rock you’ll enjoy what Dr. Dog has for you.
