The Amherst trio had towers of amps stacked up all over the stage, including one that was pointed directly towards front man J Mascis, in case his monitors weren’t providing him enough of his own guitar sound. And not having enough sound has never really been a problem for the group, and it certainly wasn’t on this evening as the band tore through a fiery 90 minute set that spanned the band’s entire career.

Take a check at LXTV’s recent Drinks W/LX segment featuring David Cross where he is interviewed by MTV personality SuChin Pak in NY’s 2A. Cross talks a bit about his love/hate relationship with his dog, his long-ass writers block, and what he thinks is funny these days (hint: think Tim & Eric Awesome Show: Great Job!, Moral Oral & Zach Galifianakis). Also, is it just me, or does Pak look like she’s recently been smacked in the right eye? Amiright?
