Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros announce North American tour dates

2009 was a colossal year for Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros: The band’s album Up From Below broke into Billboard’s Heatseekers chart—peaking at the #22 position—the single “Home” landed at the #15 spot on Triple J’s year-end Hottest 100 chart & the Zeros landed a national television spot when they performed on the Late Show with David Letterman in September. Now the group is taking to the road where they will be joined by Dawes for a two-month North American tour. Following the band’s appearance at the Sasquatch Music Festival and a performance in Vancouver Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros will be playing a show June 1 at the University of Calgary’s MacEwan Hall Ballroom.
