Fanfarlo tonight at the Triple Rock Social Club

Submitted by Josh Keller on November 11, 2009 – 11:39 amNo Comment

London band Fanfarlo will be making their first visit to the Twin Cities tonight with a highly anticipated show at the Triple Rock Social Club. The band, formed by multi-instrumentalist Simon Balthazar, creates timeless indie pop music that swells into anthemic territory using a wide variety of instruments. The group released their excellent debut album, Reservoir, earlier this year to widespread praise and now are touring the country in support of the disc. Their highly orchestrated indie pop should sound great in the live setting, so don’t miss your chance to see this rising young band in an intimate venue. Opening the show will be New York indie-folkers Freelance Whales.
