I think this is a great album. Been listening to it ever since I got it. Great beats, great emceeing. I think the idea of having a 3rd party producer makes a difference. Without hearing the other two, I would think that since they were producers that one of the artists had been longtime collaborators with, it would sound like one of their albums featuring the other one.
