I am amazed at how great the Foos sound live. It takes a great band to sound as good or better than recorded in a live performance. That song sends shivers down my spine.

thanks to your post i listened to some of foo fighters recorded songs and it's exactly as you say.
but that's how it works.
i, as great fun of radiohead, was so surprised while listening to their live recorded concert...absolutly different energy, and you feel, more than with the studio-record, "the tramble" made by their music.
it's shame that these bands are not so often playing in prague. i'd like to see dave grohl's big mouth shouting alive...

thanks for not expected response. and thanks for your blog...actually culture bully was my entrence to "web world of music" about two years ago and i still like to read.

I think that anything the band does live is better than its recorded parallel – simply as a result of the energy Dave Grohl & co. put into things in the live setting.

i am stunned… this performing of pretender is much more better than the original one. actually, every life performence of every song is much better.

but the strings gives to that song some… space… it’s larger.
