The Gaslight Anthem announce fall tour
This past April the Gaslight Anthem was scheduled to perform at Minneapolis’ Varsity Theater alongside openers the Heartless Bastards, but unfortunately the band had to pull out of the show due to illness and Heartless Bastards went on without them. History aside, the Gaslight Anthem has announced a series of new tour dates including a new Twin Cities show at Minneapolis’ Epic nightclub. While the band continues to perform in support of 2008′s The ’59 Sound, the tour is rumored to be the band’s last before heading back into the studio to record a follow-up to the band’s widely acclaimed sophomore album.

Is this the show that they’re honoring tickets to the Varsity show for?
Good question… when the gig was canceled it was announced that they were going to honor tickets when re-scheduling, but Epic has no information about the situation at this time.
The e-mail I received from Tickmaster said they were honoring tickets. Hope that stays true and it doesn’t turn in to a disaster. It’s a shame the show isn’t at the Varsity; I dig that place.
