If you know anything about Blackalicious, you most definitely know that Gift of Gab is a dope emcee. Gab will be releasing his newest solo album Escape 2 Mars on the November 3. On “Dreamin’” Gab brings along Minneapolis native Brother Ali and Bay Area legend Del The Funkee Homosapien to elevate the rhyme. From what I know this track is the only cut on the album with guest appearances, but it looks like Gift of Gab knows what he’s doing.

Here’s what Gift of Gab has to say about the album, “People are gonna think this is about Martians, but it’s not. It’s more so about taking care of the planet we’re on. We might have to escape to Mars or somewhere else if we keep taking the planet we live on for granted.” [via Ill Roots]
