The Groove announces Nashville Record Store Day festivities

This past weekend The Groove shot over word on a few of the exciting goings-on which will be going-down at the East Nashville boutique this Saturday in celebration of Record Store Day. Opening at 10 am, The Groove will be offering 15% off everything in the entire store (excluding RSD exclusives) in addition to serving up a slew of “discounted viny and CDs throughout the day.” Also, there are a load of local artists who are set to perform at the shop including Hacienda, the Coolin’ System, Bad Cop, Evan P. Donahue, Faux Ferocious (awesome band name), the Shakes, Nite Nite, Mom and Dad and Chris Crofton. There will also be edibles on hand from Mas Tacos, drinkables from New Belgium Brewery, and a range booths featuring the likes of United Record Pressing.

Additionally, if you’re in the Nashville-area, don’t forget to check out some of the city’s other April 16 festivities including a bonanza of radness at Grimey’s,Third Man Records’ amazing selection of limited edition releases or the recently announced performance by the legendary Jerry Lee Lewis.
