I met him two days ago, he's a really nice guy, funny too but I was too awestruck to say anything really meaningful/intelligent.

I can't wait to see his show again. Infact in the future when I have some cash I'd be quite happy to see him here in the UK and then somewhere in europe on the same tour later on.

Along the lines of the Syria story you mentioned, one of the things that has inspired me about Henry is his continual lust for exploration...I am moved by each story he returns with because ultimately I cannot afford the luxury of travel to the extent that he can and it's beautiful to hear first hand recollections of different nations...the stories' humanizing qualities are priceless.

His story about his trip and return from Syria was fascinating, and made me even more interested in visiting China next year (and wanting to visit other parts of the world). The Ruts story was a close second, it was fantastic to see him exposing himself to be a geek and a fanatic.

I was lucky enough to finally catch one of his spoken word shows in the past few months. He has come locally at least three times now, but I never got around to buying tickets. I entered the venue not knowing what to expect, but really enjoyed how "real" he seemed. People always talk about meeting celebrities and not knowing what to say, but unlike Mr. Rollins I try and treat everyone equally, regardless of their social status.
