I had heard little nuggets of information concerning the soundtrack to the forthcoming Bob Dylan biopic, but had not come across a solidified track listing nor complete list of confirmed artists. Thanks much to Heather @ I Am Fuel, You Are Friends for fixing all that.

In her post on Saturday Heather not only explained the entire release but unveiled the Eddie Vedder contribution! On top of giving away a few copies of the double disc set, I encourage all to head over and check it out! After multiple listens I have mixed feelings to Vedder’s “All Along The Watchtower,” which also features Nels Cline (Wilco), Lee Ranoldo & Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) amongst others, as I suppose I’ve heard too many covers to really appreciate one more. I’m partial to Jeff Tweedy’s rendition of “Simple Twist of Fate” however, just one of many songs streaming on the soundtrack’s MySpace page.
