Oh, f%^&k it! I worship Gary Numan's music. There I said it. F#$%k the rest of you who dis-ag-ree. Well. Just a little bit. Asperger's means I can't make up my mind, but when I do - you'd better look out.

I agree with Eileen Smith a 100% on this. Numan is a great Rock legend, and will hopefully continue to make great music for many years to come.

Mark Ayres clearly needs to look up industrial for himself before he goes of with no valid comments.

"So much of today’s chart music is based on looking backwards for ideas rather than forwards and I hate that. It’s too light weight, too wimpy."

There is nothing new under the sun, and Numan is doing himself a disservice by not acknowledging those who inspired him. Or perhaps he's still smarting from being labeled as a Bowie knockoff.

That having been said, I've observed elsewhere that "Boten Anna" may never have been written if Numan hadn't been on the scene earlier.

Gary Numan is a great talent. One of the most underrated performers in rock history, as well as one of it's great frontmen. Numan is one of the only musicans of his era still producing music tha is as good, if not better than his older works. And judging by the new teens and 20- something fans seen at his live gigs, I'm not the only one who thinks this is true.

Gary Numan talks rubbish. He's been using the same preset sounds on the last four albums. And to call this music industrial? He doesn't know the meaning of the word.
