A fresh video produced by Mazik Saevitz which features John Yancey, Common, Will.I.AM, Black Thought and Talib Kweli among others was recently released from J Dilla’s 2006 album The Shining. I feel poor for not having been a fan of his music while he was alive and poorer yet for knowing that we don’t have the opportunity to celebrate his 2006 releases while he was alive.
