Thanks to a post at So Much Silence I was reintroduced to an old friend, Jeru The Damaja. This video reminds me of watching Rap City on Much Music when I lived in Canada; goodmemory, and it’s as good then as it is now. Jeru was a sort of introduction to socially responsible hip hop for me, and I still link a lot of my tastes back to this video. (YouTube link)
