However prolific and talented an artist may have been before the online bloggerati takes over occasionally becomes mute once the kids say their piece. Joseph Arthur is one of the musicians that I cannot help but personally identify in such a manner, all the while cringing because deep down I know it’s not entirely honest of me to do so. But after it seemed all the big guns jumped on for what seemed to be a moments worth of publicity, what lingers is a disparaging view of an artist that I hope fades with time. Though not the first time this has happened, I was turned off because the blanket voiceless exposure, know what I mean? This recent performance from Conan is pretty solid, here’s hoping the new album is noticed for more than a minute or two this time around.
