Kings of Leon on the Late Show

Submitted by Chris DeLine on April 5, 2007 – 11:45 amOne Comment

The band’s most recent album Because of the Times takes a few listens before the realization settles in that it doesn’t actually suck. This process has little to do with the group’s music however, which is as solid as always, but rather it comes with the perception that the group came into fame during a time when every band with a catchy hook and the right look were signed to a record contract. “On Call” is one of the most interesting surprises within the album, as it comes deeply seeded – far later than many would typically expect a solid, potential single. For those who haven’t heard the song yet this performance gives the song its due.

=> It took me one single listen to realize how briliant this record is… :)
