Lady Gaga “Judas” MP3

With the title track from Lady Gaga’s forthcoming sophomore release the criticisms of the song were strongly focused on its similarities to a track from the back catalog of one of pop music’s all-time legends. While it’s difficult not to hear the similarities — during production someone had to have realized that “Born This Way” sounds like Madonna’s “Express Yourself,” right? — Gaga’s single still stands on its own two feet as a first-rate pop song. Within moments of allowing “Judas” to leak out of the speakers however, her newest track raises a similar question as the album’s first single did. While not showing similarities to a long since past her prime superstar, “Judas” does seem to bite the style of one very recognizable modern songstress: Lady Gaga, herself. Just as there’s little doubt that “Born This Way” reflects “Express Yourself,” the vocal similarities between “Judas” and her own 2009 single “Bad Romance” are too close to overlook. “Judas, Juda ah ah, Judas, Juda ah ah, Judas, Juda ah ah, Judas, dah dah.” “Rah, rah, ah ah ah, Roma, roma ma, Gaga, ooh la la.” It might seem minimal, but for someone who has prided herself on being such a unique individual to come out of the gate with two less-than-unique tracks is something that very few would have likely predicted. Born This Way is set to be released May 23.

UPDATE: There is now a music video for the track – watch it here.

“Born this way” was boring. “Judas” is boring as well.

    • lol u have no taste in music lol..

      • Or you don’t lol do you like Ke$ha and Katy Perry as well? That’s what I thought. Lady Gaga’s ONE shining star of a song has been Speechless and that’s it. She’s had other menial successes (as far as quality goes) but her newer shit is failing just as hard as ‘Just Dance’ does. She’s inconsistent.

Agreed! 0 for 2 on the new album. Sophmore jinx in full effect thus far.

  • MMM, it really sounds like bad romance at some points, but if you get to think about it, the topic of this song is also the same. I think the song is great techno, great, it just starts and get to your feet.

I remember how when bad romance came out critics said that it sounded too much like pokerface, look where she ended up, Judas is now N° 1 in 21 countries, and if iTunes was available in more countries I assure you it will me more! jaja. long life to Lady Gaga!

    love. OX AHAU.

    • “Judas” has a similar sound to Gaga’s previous singles like “Poker Face”, “LoveGame”, “Bad Romance”, and “Alejandro”, and contains three distinct hooks and a break down influenced by house music. The breakdown contains influences of tribal-techno and dubstep. Gaga explained that the lines spoken during the breakdown talks about her being beyond the ability to redeem herself, in terms of the traditional views of what a woman is supposed to be.

It comes down to the producer. RedOne (Nadir Khayat) and GaGa’s collaborations are all pretty similar. Besides “Judas”, the most notable are “Bad Romance” and “Poker Face”. I agree that “Judas”sounds unmistakably similar to “Bad Romance”; the aforementioned beginning and the chorus chant, the beat of the song itself, the bridge dialogue between the second and third verses (“In the most biblical sense I am beyond repentance”/ “Work, work, fashion baby”/ “I won’t tell you that I love you, kiss or hug you”). I like GaGa’s music, especially when I’m blackout drunk, but unfortunately there’s nothing ground breaking or iconic about either “Judas” or “Born This Way”. Her respect and credibility will continue to be jeopardized until she can release something new and original that resonates with her other “avant-garde” public fashions and general behaviors.

  • The concept of Born This Way actually had everything right for it, the video, the message, it all fits the Monster Diva that she became in no time. I just didn’t feel the song, it was too much of a gaga gospel… that didn’t get apocalyptic, when in Judas it feels like its the end of times! yeah there are similarities to Bad Romance but who else in the world could rip off gaga? Only herself. And what some might be seeing as lack of creativity/rip off i only see a singer keeping her gaga signature moves there.
she does it all anyway, rihanna britney ke$ha they all might come up with a smash hit but none of them do it like Gaga, its fact.

  • Where is Lady GaGa and where the hell are you freaks??:D

  • Lady gaga is special strange…
    Yes… She’s not normal!
    But the songs are good,
but i don’t understand why she’s making that lyrics of judas!

    • Judas” is a dance song that speaks of a woman in love with a man who betrays her while simultaneously embodying things that have haunted her in the past, thus representing something that was bad for her – something she could not escape. Gaga explained that it’s also about “honoring your darkness in order to bring yourself into the light, [...] You have to look into what’s haunting you and need to learn to forgive yourself in order to move on.”

look closely in the image its GaGa herself, the image and text was from Microsoft Word, and to give it the reddish hue, GaGa took it with her mobile phone at the computer monitor resulting in her reflection being seen
