I think she meant the video:
the two are similar, but didn’t Andre3000 (Hey Ya), and Weezer (Buddy Holly), and Kweli (Never Been in Love) and even others that i’m forgetting now do the same thing?
I don’t know about that… pretty sure that Jenny Lewis was the first to come up with a satirical throw-back video
