Lily Allen on Late Night with Conan O’Brien

Submitted by Chris DeLine on February 16, 2007 – 12:15 pmOne Comment

This past week has served further evidence that Lily Allen may be to mainstream pop in 2007 what she was to indie-pop in 2006. With her umpteenth performance on American television she got off with “Smile” on Conan O’Brien this past week in typically stunning fashion. That being said, a few more weeks like this and we’ll all be wishing we had never heard of the song in the first place.

hey check out lily allen’s music buddies KLAXONS.

i would describe them as a blend of cosmic imagery, sci-fi futurist themes, punk ethos, and the ability to mesh these together into a musical hodgepodge of utmost sincere pop songs.

their new album “myths of the near future” comes out march 27 in the US and it rules. go out and buy the album or you can actually purchase it NOW on Itunes.
