Mad TV: Ever So Topical Feist/iPod Parody

Submitted by Chris DeLine on November 17, 2007 – 10:27 pm3 Comments

Dropping topical comedy like there’s no tomorrow, Mad TV delivers a skit using a poorly executed parody of a half year old music video thematically mocking old “new” technology. The skit isn’t necessarily “funny” per say but with a very slim exception one cannot expect too much from the show. Mad TV is still on the air – who knew?

I didn’t know Mad TV was still on.

Feist was just here in Madison and she is awesome.

  • KeyLimePie says:

This post reeks of hatred. I happen to think it’s pretty funny.

It goes after familiar technology annoyances such as new models coming out all the time and high pricing. I don’t really see the problem with that?

Also, it’s parodying the iPod advert that uses the video rather than the video itself. That ad is only a couple of months old.

  • Chris DeLine says:

Hardly hatred, rather astonishment. Week after week Saturday Night Live gets bashed for its lack of quality content but the tame humor of Mad TV seems to go unacknowledged. It’s a mad, mad, mad, mad world.
