I really think you’d enjoy 5-6 Adam. I love the first two volumes, but the way that Madlib paid homage to Dilla on 5 & 6 is impeccable. I don’t know if you’re a Dilla fan, but if you are you will definitely appreciate Madlib’s efforts.

I haven’t given 5-6 as much of a listen either, but I’ve been partial to the first two volumes.

I love vol. 3-4, but I haven’t really given 5-6 enough time to be fair.

I love the samples of different contries music. I really liked both Vol. 3-4 and the Oh No Record.

Who else is doing stuff like that? I am not connected to that genre (off the beaten path sample based instrumental hip hop) enough, but have loved what I have heard.
