Mew: Acoustic Performance on AOL’s The Interface

Submitted by Chris DeLine on August 18, 2006 – 2:46 pm2 Comments

Mew on AOL The Interface.jpg

Despite learning that through The Interface that the band’s relationship with J Masic started when they bumped into him at a Danish record store, the performance comes off as almost a little flat. Something’s got to give when a band that is hooked on electric loses its watts, but still…so-so. Hard to say that the J. Mascis-less “Why Are You Looking Grave” sounds the same without him, but, the performance is worth checking out, none the less.
