The Amherst trio had towers of amps stacked up all over the stage, including one that was pointed directly towards front man J Mascis, in case his monitors weren’t providing him enough of his own guitar sound. Michael Jackson to be buried sans brain

Submitted by Chris DeLine on July 5, 2009 – 7:16 pmNo Comment

Some interesting news accompanies a day that saw over 1.6 million people crash the Staple Center’s website in an attempt to purchase one of some 8750 tickets to Michael Jackson’s memorial at the Los Angeles arena. British tabloid the Daily Mirror is now reporting that Jackson’s body will be buried prior to his brain being returned from numerous examinations.

Speaking of Jackson’s family, “They faced the grim choice of waiting up to three weeks for Jackson’s brain to be returned to them or go ahead and bury him without it – which they have decided to do.” In any normal circumstance this really wouldn’t be much cause for concern, but the digg page that linked to the story came with an ominous conspiracy behind the extended removal of Jackson’s brain, one user commenting a la South Park’s Underpants Gnomes:

1. Keep the brain.
2. Consult Michael’s plastic surgeon. Reconstruct working body.
3. ?????
4. Thriller 2!!

Guilty until proven innocent.
