Motörhead reveal North American summer dates

Sometimes the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Other times, the grass is just green wherever you are; such is the case with the Motörhead’s forthcoming US and UK tours. Where the Reverend Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy will be accompanying Lemmy & co. stateside, the legendary Damned and Girlschool will carry similar duties across the Atlantic.

Motörhead continues to tour relentlessly in support of last year’s critically acclaimed Motörizer, an album which Metal Hammer gave a score of 8/10 and left Pitchfork commenting “Motörizer avoids the bland hard rock that larded up some of the band’s recent records. Instead, its 11 tracks efficiently clock in at under 39 minutes. Lemmy turns 63 this year, but he still sounds half his age.” Tickets are $32.50 in advance or $35 at the door (though I wouldn’t count on too many being available). (via Switchblade Comb)
