  • Eric says:

    Great song and great message.
How is it that Neil Young is our only legitimately angry rock star?

  • Chris DeLine says:

I don’t know. I wish I had some witty response Eric, but I really don’t know. For all the empty rhetoric out there, I find myself coming to the same conclusion. How come it takes a guy from Toronto, who the industry gave up on well over twenty years ago to tell it like it is. Then again – maybe I answered my own question there.

    “there’s a bailout coming… but it’s not for you”

as cheesy as the song is, that line kills me

  • Greg says:

Neil breaks my heart… in a good way

    ROCK ON OLD MASTER!

  • DownriverDem says:

And did you all know he’s a Canadian!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Chris DeLine says:

    I hear he’s a robot

  • Tom says:

Neil’s wry social commentary and biting sarcasm are irresistable. I marvel at the way he uses humour to propel his seemingly effortless songwriting. Another classic. That part about ‘missed the Raiders game’ had my wife and I in stitches. How can he continue to hit te mark with the genuine thoughts and angst of ‘real Americans’ (or Canadians as we both are) on such a consistent basis is part of what makes Neil the greatest singer-songwriter of his generation. You are the undisputed best Neil! Keep on rockin’ in the free world!

  • jasont says:

Pride of the musically cultural city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Was just born in Toronto. On of the most respected artists of all time, even bob Dylan came to is childhood home because hes interested.
