What a complete 180° Nellie McKay experienced in 2006. An eagerly anticipated album of completed material put on the shelf only to see the light of day in the later stages of the year resulting in Pretty Little Head fulfilling many of her fan’s wildest dreams. This performance allows McKay the luxury of a Paul Shaffer-lead mini-symphony which gives her performance the depth it deserves.
