New Majestic Twelve Video: “Cry”

Submitted by Chris DeLine on January 28, 2008 – 10:00 amNo Comment

In this election year we are all going to be faced with some very important decisions, some which will bear consequence for decades to come. These decisions seemingly all weigh on one’s ability to consider the issues, to collect the facts and vote. But considering how rarely we get to vote on anything I think it’s safe to say that we could all use a little practice before the big show. With that in mind, take a trip over to MTVU with me, stretch your fingers a bit and vote for The Majestic Twelve’s “Cry” in this week’s Freshman contest. Why? Well, the band is brilliant (especially so considering their competition…though I think Jack P. is quirky) and they could really use the support (winning the competition puts the band’s video into rotation on the station) as they’ve been hit with some reality this past year that has burdened the progress of their new album. So it’s easy and simple: vote for The Majestic Twelve (did I mention they give their music away for free?) — they win — we get more free music; plus you get a little warm up in preparation for the fall. It’s a win-win-win situation, really.
