PJ Harvey on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Submitted by Chris DeLine on October 31, 2007 – 9:00 amOne Comment

Sitting alone on the stage of The Tonight Show, PJ Harvey recently performed “Grow Grow Grow” to a national audience. The sound stage echoed as her haunting voice eclipsed the autoharp she played. The purple mood lighting in the background was possibly as important as the eerie foot-pedal synthesizer that Harvey used during the performance as it allowed her to blend hauntingly into the scene. Such a scene with her reminded me of a ghost, something I often dream of her being.
