Rage Against The Machine Coachella 2007 Videos

What an amazing feeling it must have been for those awaiting Rage Against The Machine’s performance this past weekend at the Coachella Festival. Sweaty, red from the day’s sun and tired – yet fully aware that what you were going to see what might possibly be the most compelling performance the festival had seen since RATM last took the stage at the initial Coachella (all due respect to Björk, her performance the day before was said to be have been fantastic as well). “Good evening, we are Rage Against The Machine from Los Angeles, California.” Though having previously heard the songs hundreds of times before, just to know that they are being played by the band now, at this point in time adds an emphasis all to itself suggesting a necessity for the band now more than ever. That being said, in regards to the President, how many times can we hear suggestions that he should be “hung, tried and shot, just like every other war criminal” before such remarks lose their emphasis? But seriously, how many Presidents were shot at in history and we’re stuck here, with George Bush vetoing legislation to pull troops out of Iraq and no one even takes a crack at the guy.

Holy-moly!!
Imagine how they must have felt, having not played together for approx. 7 years, being able to kick out those jams once again… THEY MUST HAVE BEEN HAPPY!!!!!!!!
