		<description>She&#039;s seen a lot of rock history come and go. She was there before punk started in LA and was a veteren by the time it started. She and the Runaways were brought up under the tacky wing of Kim Fowley. She produced the first Germs LP and later fronted the reformed Gits (as Evil Stig)  after their lead singer (Mia Zapata) was murdered.
I too had a gut reaction to dislike her after becoming a (short-lived) MTV star, but I didn&#039;t know what a fascinating history she had.</description>
