The Amherst trio had towers of amps stacked up all over the stage, including one that was pointed directly towards front man J Mascis, in case his monitors weren’t providing him enough of his own guitar sound. And not having enough sound has never really been a problem for the group, and it certainly wasn’t on this evening as the band tore through a fiery 90 minute set that spanned the band’s entire career.

    I really wasn’t too impressed with it until I watched the video a few times…being the fan of mashups that I am I eventually got a kick out of how they subtly blended the two acts’ songs. It could have been a whole lot worse, always have to keep that in mind!

    I thought it was poor lazers were amazin though … I found a better alternative … watching the video on mute with golden skans on in the background why why why? !

    well..i really like the performace and i love the mashup, i mean it does sound good, they match perfectly as in rhythm and melody u gotta admit it; klaxons totally rule :)
