2k10 in Review: The Top Music Videos Featuring Robots

At this time every year, as the next slew of awards and honors are handed out for what seems like an endless number of been-there-done-that year-end categories, you can’t help but feel a little bad for robots. Time after time they’re overlooked, under-appreciated and just flat out disrespected. It’s just not fair. This year I’ve decided that I can no longer stand by and let this continue to happen while all the voiceless robots out there continue to go unrecognized for their tireless contributions—especially in the realm of music videos. So to all you robots, this one’s for you: Here are the year’s best music videos… featuring robots.

#5) Zoon van snooK “Cuckoo”
(Directed by Paul Stevenson)

#4) Dan Mangan “Robots”
(Directed by Mike Lewis)

#3) LCD Soundsystem “Home”
(Directed by Rick Darge)

#2) Mitchell Museum “Tiger Heartbeat”
(Directed by Mitchell Museum, animation by Kristofor Ferguson)

#1) Flying Lotus “Kill Your Coworkers”
(Directed by beeple)
