Royce Da 5′9″ “Street Hop” Update

First off, we have Royce’s video for the track “Count For Nothing,” which was featured on his Revival EP (it will also be featured on Street Hop). The video was shot for an on-going collaboration between Court Dunn & Nah Right called One Shot Video Series. [via 2 Dope Boyz]

As the hype keeps getting bigger for the arrival of Street Hop, Royce Da 5′9″ keeps bringing the heat, and in addition to the new video we have two new Nickel Nine tracks for your hip hop loving ears. The first track is called “Gimme Money” which is produced by Mr. Porter, and is apparently the original album version of the track “New Money.” I personally like the “Gimme Money” version better; I’ll leave it for you to decide. “Something 2 Ride 2″ is yet another track that will be featured on Street Hop. On “Something 2 Ride 2″ we get to hear Royce smoothly coast over some mellowed out DJ Premier production, while Phonte of Little Brother lends his vocals to the track, joining Royce on the hook. This song is just another great example of how good Royce truly is; the dude can rap. [via Nah Right]

Royce Quotable: “I’m the king of the boom bap/Bomb strapped to my chest askin’ where ya goons at/I’m old school like a Star Tech, on a voyage like Star Trek/Me unemployed is far fetched.”
