Six Feet High and Rising
Culture Bully has been bloggerin’ for six years as of today. The site used to suck when it started, and I’d like to think that it sucks less now. All the love over the years has really appreciated and I just wanted to quickly say thanks to everyone who still checks the site out. Thanks.
Also, if I murdered our Twitter friendship when I deleted that account last September, sorry about that. It was kinda stupid of me. Hope we can hang again. If that doesn’t work, as of late last year there’s totally a Facebook account where we can rap about stuff, too. Seriously, let’s be friends.
The screen grab above is from what might be the greatest music video to have been released during the blog’s lifetime: that being the clip for the Kidz Bop version of Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone.” The thing is a beast (you’re gonna wanna watch out at 2:35). Now that I think of it, Ted Leo’s cover was also pretty good. That last part really has nothing to do with anything, I just thought that you might enjoy it. Later gator.
