Fresh off the release of his highly anticipated debut album The Salvation, Skyzoo has released this Saved By the Bell influenced music video for his track “Popularity.” For those of you that don’t know, Skyzoo is an emcee from Brooklyn who came to critical acclaim through his mixtapes; if you are looking for some straight boom bap hip hop, check out his debut The Salvation—it has great all around production and great wordplay. For any of you that grew up in the ’90s, this video is definitely for you. This video takes me back to the days of watching the Zack Morris antics that filled my childhood with humor.
